The world famous festival outside ( Merry Christmas )

A very common question, why is Christmas Day on the 25th December. Here in this post, I discuss this in detail in my post- Christmas means- to be joyful, celebrate, and be in general good cheer. Christmas is celebrated to remember the birth of Jesus Christ, who Christians believe is the Son of God.
The name 'Christmas' comes from the Mass of Christ (or Jesus). There is a Mass Service (sometimes called Communion or Eucharist) where Christians remember that Jesus died for us and then came back to life. The 'Christ-Mass' service was the only one that was allowed to take place after sunset (and before sunrise the next day), so people had it at Midnight! So we get the name Christ-Mass, shortened to Christmas.
Christmas is now celebrated by people around the world, whether they are Christians or not. It's a time when family and friends come together and remember the good things they have. People, and especially children, also like Christmas as it is a time when you give and receive presents!

Merry Christmas means- to be joyful, celebrate, and be in general good cheer.
The True Manning of Christ-Month
They tell us that this is the season to be jolly. It is a time of ornaments, red and green decorations, silver bells, holly, mistletoe and coloured lights. It is also a time department store Santas called out to their universal mantra, "Ho ho ho, Merry Christmas." Nearly every one of the realm joins the so-called "Christianity" and repeats this same greeting, "Merry Christmas!"
Although we hear these words constantly as they resonate millions of times across the land, almost nobody understands what they are really saying. It is the purpose of this tract to take the words, "Merry Christmas" and examine the true meaning and essence of those words.
A true Christian would want to examine everything they say because Jesus said in Matthew 12: 36-37, "But I say to you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account of the day in Judgment." thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words, thou shalt be condemned. " We will now set aside all the customs, glitter and traditions of Christmas, which were taken from the pagan witchcraft and popularized by the Roman Catholic Church, and we will focus on the true meaning of the words, "Merry Christmas!"
The word "Merry" is simple to define. It unquestionably means to be happy, joyful and light-hearted. The word "merry" fits into the ambience of laughter and frivolity. This word "merry" by itself is innocent and innocuous enough, but as we will now see, it becomes heinously blasphemous when used with the word "Christmas."
Here let it be noted that most people think that the word, "Christmas" means "the birth of Christ." By definition, it means "death of Christ", and I will prove it using the World Book Encyclopedia, the Catholic Encyclopedia, and a book entitled, The Mass in Slow Motion.
If you are an honest, sincere and discerning Christian, please read on; If not, you might as well stop right here. The World Book Encyclopedia defines "Christmas" as follows: "The word Christmas comes from" Cristes Maesse ", an early English phrase that means" Mass of Christ. "It is interesting to note that the word" Mass ", as used by the. Roman Catholics have traditionally been rejected by the so-called Protestants, such as the Lutherans, Baptists, Methodists, Presbyterians, Pentecostals and so on.
It would stand to reason, that since all these denominations love and embrace "Christ-Mass", that December 25th is a great homecoming day when all of the Protestants become Catholic for a day. It would seem that all of the so-called "wayward daughters" of the Romish church would return to their mother, the scarlet harlot. Thus, all of the so-called Protestant churches could sing to the Pope that popular song "I'll be home for Christmas."
As history stated, religious usage in the word "mass" means "death sacrifice." The impact of this fact is horrifying and shocking; For the millions of people who are saying, "Merry Christmas", they are literally saying "Merry death of Christ!" Furthermore, when the fat man in the red suit laughs boisterously and says, "Ho ho ho, Merry Christmas", he is mocking and laughing at the suffering and bleeding Savior, who died for our sins. He does this while parents place their little children in his waiting arms to hear his false promises that he says he will give them. Consider what you are saying when you say "Merry Christmas."
What is so amusing about our Savior's tragic death? What is so funny? Why is Santa laughing? Why are you going along with it? Your words do count and Satan knows it. Yes, the word "Mass" does not mean "death sacrifice", and to the fact that we will consider the definition of the inventor of the religious application of the word "Mass." I am looking at page 537 of the Catholic Encyclopedia, which says, "In the Christian law, the supreme sacrifice is that of the Mass." It goes on to say, "The supreme act of worship consisted primarily of offering a worthy victim to God, making the offering made by a proper person, as a priest, the destruction of the victim." Please note carefully the word, "victim" of the Mass. The Latin word for a victim is "Hostia" from which the word "host" is derived. The Mass, by the definition of those who coined the word, is a sacrificial victim. There is no other meaning for the word "Mass" or "Christ-Mass." On page 110 of a book entitled "The Mass in Slow Motion", we find the following words: "It is only with the conscience that the sacrifice of the Mass is achieved. I have represented the Mass more than once, A kind of ritual dance."
In essence, the Mass is the ceremonial slaying of Jesus Christ over and over again, followed by the eating of His flesh and the drinking of His blood. The Mass is the death sacrifice, and the "Host" is the victim. This is the official Roman Catholic doctrine, and "Christmas" is a word that they invented. Again, I ask, what is so merry about the pain, bleeding, suffering and death of Jesus Christ? Satan has done quite a job of getting millions of so-called "Christians" to blaspheme. What a deceiver he is.
Now you know the true meaning of the word "Christmas" or Mass of Christ. There is much more to know about this pagan holiday, and we will be glad to provide you with plenty of evidence that Jesus was not born on December 25th, and that Christmas is not just a lie, but is actually a witches' sabbat called " Yule "in clever disguise. ------- David J. Meyer

Every year Christmas is celebrated on December 25 and is both a sacred religious holiday and a worldwide cultural and commercial phenomenon. For two millennia, people around the world are observing it with traditions and practices that are both religious and secular in nature. Christians celebrate Christmas Day as the anniversary of the birth of Jesus of Nazareth, a spiritual leader whose teachings form the basis of their religion. Popular customs include exchanging gifts, decorating Christmas trees, attending church, sharing meals with family and friends and, of course, waiting for Santa Claus to arrive. December 25 - Christmas Day - A federal holiday in the United States since 1870.
How Did Christmas Start?
The middle of winter has been a long-time celebrated around the world. Centuries before the arrival of the man called Jesus, early Europeans celebrated the light and birth of the darkest days of winter. Many peoples rejoiced during the winter solstice when the worst of the winter was behind them and they could look forward to longer days and extended hours of sunlight.
In Scandinavia, the Norse celebrated Yule from December 21, through the winter solstice, through January. In recognition of the return of the sun, fathers and sons would bring home large logs, which they would set on fire. The people would feast until the log burned out, which could take as many as 12 days. The Norse believed that each spark from the fire represented a new pig or calf that would be born during the coming year.
Saturnalia
In Rome, where winters were not as harsh as those in the far north, Saturnalia — a holiday in honour of Saturn, the god of agriculture — was celebrated. Beginning in the week leading up to the winter solstice and continuing for a full month, Saturnalia was a hedonistic time, when food and drink were plentiful and the normal Roman social order was turned upside down. For a month, slaves would become masters. Peasants were in command of the city. Business and schools were closed so that everyone could join in the fun.
Also around the time of the winter solstice, the Romans observed Juvenalia, a feast honouring the children of Rome. In addition, members of the upper classes often celebrated the birthday of Mithra, the god of the unconquerable sun, on December 25. It was believed that Mithra, an infant god, was born of a rock. For some Romans, Mithra's birthday was the most sacred day of the year.

Is Christmas Really the Day Jesus Was Born?
In the early years of Christianity, Easter was the main holiday; the birth of Jesus was not celebrated. In the fourth century, church officials decided to institute the birth of Jesus as a holiday. Unfortunately, the Bible does not mention the date for his birth (a fact Puritans later pointed out in order to deny the legitimacy of the celebration). Although some evidence suggests that his birth may have taken place in the spring (why would shepherds be herding in the middle of winter?), Pope Julius I chose December 25. It is most likely that the church chose to adopt an effort on this date and absorb the traditions of the pagan Saturnalia festival. First called the Feast of the Nativity, the custom spread to Egypt by 432 and England to the end of the sixth century.
By the end of the eighth century, the celebration of Christmas had spread all the way to Scandinavia. Today, in the Greek and Russian orthodox churches, Christmas is celebrated 13 to 14 days after the 25th. This is because Western churches use the Gregorian Calendar, while Eastern Churches use the Julian Calendar, which is 13 to 14 days behind the Gregorian Calendar. Both Western and Eastern churches celebrate Epiphany or Three Kings Day 12 days after their respective Christmases. It is to this day that it is believed that the three wise men have finally found Jesus in the manger
By holding Christmas at the same time as traditional winter solstice festivals, church leaders increased the chances that Christmas would be popularly embraced, but gave up its ability to dictate how it was celebrated. By the Middle Ages, Christianity had, for the most part, replaced pagan religion. On Christmas, believers attended church, then celebrated raucously in a drunken, carnival-like atmosphere similar to today's Mardi Gras. Each year, a beggar or student would be crowned the "lord of misrule" and eager celebrants played the part of his subjects. The poor would go to the houses of the rich and demand their best food and drink. If the owners failed to comply, their visitors would most likely terrorize them with mischief. Christmas became the time of year when upper classes could repay their real or imagined "debt" to society by entertaining less fortunate citizens.

Who Invented Santa Claus?
The legend of Santa Claus can be traced back to a monk named St. Nicholas who was born in Turkey around 280 A.D... St. Nicholas gave away all his inherited wealth and travelled to the countryside helping the poor and sick, known as the Protector of children and sailors.
St. Nicholas first entered American popular culture in New York in the late 18th century, when Dutch families were honoured to celebrate the anniversary of the death of "Sint Nikolaas" (Dutch for Saint Nicholas), or "Sinter Klaas" for short. "Santa Claus" draws his name from this abbreviation.
In 1822, Episcopal minister Clement Clarke Moore wrote a Christmas poem called “An Account of a Visit from St. Nicholas, "more popularly known today by its first line:" 'Twas the Night Before Christmas.' The poem depicted Santa Claus as a jolly man who flies from home to home sledge driven by reindeer to deliver toys.
The iconic version of Santa Claus as a jolly man in red with a white beard and a sack of toys was immortalized in 1881 when political cartoonist Thomas Nast drew on Moore's poem to create an image of Old Saint Nick we know today.

Beautiful Christmas Poems
A Friend's Greeting
I'd like to be the sort of friend
that you have been to me;
I'd like to be the help that you've been
always glad to be;
I'd like to mean as much to you
each minute of the day
As you have meant, an old friend of mine,
to me along the way.
I'd like to do big things
and the splendid things for you,
To brush the grey out of your skies
and leave them only blue;
I'd like to say the kindly things
that I so oft have heard,
And feel that I could rouse your soul
the way that mine you've stirred.
I'd like to give back the joy
that you have given me,
Yet that were wishing you a need
I hope will never be;
I'd like to make you feel
as rich as I, who travel on
Undaunted in the darkest hours
with you to lean upon.
I'm wishing at this Christmas time
that I could but repay
A portion of the gladness
that you've strewn along the way;
And could I have one wish this year,
this only would it be:
I'd like to be the sort of friend
that you have been to me.
that you have been to me;
I'd like to be the help that you've been
always glad to be;
I'd like to mean as much to you

2) Merry Christmas, Mom
Published: October 2009
For all of the presents
You put under the tree,
For all of the times
You picked up after me...
For all of the times
That you tucked me in tight
And we stayed up to talk
Long into the night
For all of the days
I was feeling so down
And the times that you turned
To a smile my frown
For the cookies, you baked
And the stockings you stuffed,
For the cuts that you healed
And the pillows you fluffed...
For the time that you took
Off the training wheels
For the nights that you made me
My favourite meals
For the years throughout
Elementary school
For knowing the right thing
Isn't always what's cool
For putting up with
Those preteen years
For making it through
All the laughs and the tears
For all of the days
That you loved me so much
Even during the times
That I made it so tough...
For all of the memories
We have already shared
For the future for which
We cannot be prepared
For being there for that one-year-old boy
Who sat in the house and sucked on his thumb
For working so hard at being his mom
And making that boy into the man I've become
Look back on all that we have been through
And look at me now mom, how far I have come
For all of the times, I'll never forget
Merry Christmas to you, Mom
Here's to the memories
We haven't had yet

I wish I could go back to the past,
of Christmases long ago.
I wish I could see my loved ones
who has passed on long ago?
I'd love to be that child again
who sat on Santa's knee.
Yes, all these memories that I have
decorating the tree.
I wish I could wake Christmas morn
to see Daddy baking ham.
And to see my mamma making her yummy
famous candy yams.
I wish I could go to Grandma's house;
her cookies were the best.
The pies and cakes that she would bake,
she kept them in a chest.
Her house would smell like ginger,
with a hint of Balsam Pine.
She'd decorate the house with lights,
and it would surely shine.
All these Christmas memories,

4) Christmas Bells
I heard the bells on Christmas Day
Their old, familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet
The words repeat
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!
And thought how, as the day had come,
The belfries of all Christendom
Had rolled along
The unbroken song
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!
Till ringing, singing on its way,
The world revolved from night today,
A voice, a chime,
A chant sublime
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!
Then from each black, accursed mouth
The cannon thundered in the South,
And with the sound
The carols drowned
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!
It was as if an earthquake rent
The hearth-stones of a continent,
And made forlornly
The households born
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!
And in despair I bowed my head;
"There is no peace on earth," I said;
For hate is strong,
And mocks the song
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!"
Then pealed the bells more loud and deep:
"God is not dead, nor doth He sleeps;
The Wrong shall fail,
The Right prevail,
With peace on earth, good-will to men."
Their old, familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet
The words repeat
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!

5) Christmas Is Here
Published: December 21, 2018
Cold days and hard long nights.
Trees shimmed with tiny lights,
Their branches pointing ever high,
Reaching for the midnight sky.
Christmas is here!
Delicate snowflake dancing down,
Piling high across the town.
Children running 'round and 'round
While parents watch in the background.
Christmas is here!
Warming cold hands by the fire,
Listening to singing by the choir.
Stockings hanging in a row,
Wishing not to go so low.
Christmas is here!
As children climb into bed,
Santa arrives with his sledge.
Mince pies stuffed in his mouth,
As he shouts:
"HO, HO, HO, Christmas is here!"
Trees shimmed with tiny lights,
Their branches pointing ever high,
Reaching for the midnight sky.

Children playing in the snow
Families making homemade treats
Teens with fuzzy socks on their feet

Employees working on their last shift
Students getting home before the snowdrifts
Choirs singing, "Noel, Noel, Noel!"
Volunteers ringing little bells
Candles with winter smells
Reindeer flying through the skies
Everyone waking up to a surprise
That's what Christmas is in my eyes

7) Two Christmas Blessings From Above!
Published: December 2018
Once upon a Christmas time, not very long ago,
was a loving family that lost all Christmas glow.
Tears of sadness filled the air; no more merriment or cheer.
Loss and grief of loved ones gone, so hard to bear and carry on,
but what this family couldn't know of miracles God would bestow.
God had a plan in Heaven above to send a baby girl to love.
then within the very next year, a baby boy; more joy to share!
Now there is a loving family that has found new Christmas joy.
Right beneath their Christmas tree, a baby girl and boy!
Two Christmas blessings from above,
from heaven with love!

By James Lord Pierpont
Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way!
O what fun it is to ride
On a one-horse open sleigh
Oh! Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way!
O what fun it is to ride
On a one-horse open sleigh
Dashing through the snow
On a one-horse open sleigh
Over fields we go
Laughing all the way
Bells on bob-tails ring
Keeping spirits bright
Oh What fun it is to sing
A sleighing song tonight
12) The Birds
BY HILAIRE BELLOC
WHEN Jesus Christ was four years old,
The angels brought Him toys of gold,
Which no man ever had bought or sold. And yet with these He would not play,
He made Him small fowl out of clay,
And blessed them till they flew away:
Tu Creasti Domine.Jesus Christ, Thou child so wise,
Bless mine hands and fill mine eyes,
And bring my soul to Paradise.
13) Famous Christmas Poems
I Believe...
I believe that Rudolph's red nose glows
I believe that Santa sings funny jingles all through his journeyI believe that he assesses if we've been good the whole year as he sees all our doings in his magical crystal sphere
I believe that he smiles at us on the streets irrespective of whether we smile back
I believe he makes miracles happen on the 34th Street
I believe he exists.
And while some fly back to a huge lit-up Christmas tree back in their city,
Some of us have to make do with some cheap glitter balls and stars and fairy lights for the tiny ones sitting on our dorm room tables
With carols and beliefs, beer and cakes, lonely mistletoes and lonelier clubs, a room full of friends and old family secrets;
On Christmas Eve, we all find a way to make ourselves feel at home
On Christmas Eve, we all find a way to be our own Santa Claus.
